1. Use of the Service
You agree to use Sparta Fitness only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You must not:
- Use the app in any way that could harm or disrupt the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
- Use the Service for fraudulent or abusive purposes
2. Accounts
To use certain features, you must create an account using Google Sign-In via Firebase Authentication.
You agree that:
- The information you provide is accurate
- You are responsible for your account activity
- You will not share access to your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Fitness Disclaimer
Sparta Fitness provides fitness and activity tracking tools for logging workouts, activities, active days, groups, leaderboards, and streaks. The Service is not a medical device or medical service, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure, monitor, or prevent any disease, injury, medical condition, or health condition.
The Service does not provide medical advice, clinical recommendations, emergency services, or personalized medical guidance. Information shown in the app is for general fitness tracking, motivation, and personal record-keeping only.
By using the Service, you acknowledge that:
- You are responsible for deciding whether any workout, activity, challenge, or training routine is safe for you
- You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing any fitness program, especially if you are pregnant, injured, have a medical condition, have symptoms, or have health concerns
- You should stop exercising and seek medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest pain, or other concerning symptoms
- You should not use the Service for emergencies or medical decisions
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injuries or health issues resulting from workouts, activities, or use of the app
4. User Content and Community Rules
You retain ownership of any content you submit (e.g., workout data, comments).
By using the Service, you grant us a limited right to:
- Store and process your data to provide the Service
- Show your activity, comments, and reactions to members of your groups, according to your sharing settings
We do not claim ownership of your data.
Comments and reactions you post are visible to your group. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights. The owner of an activity and group admins can delete comments on that activity, and any member can report a comment or block another user. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Subscriptions (Sparta Pro)
The core of Sparta Fitness is free. Sparta Pro is an optional paid subscription, available as a monthly or yearly plan, that unlocks additional features.
- Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in your app store's subscription settings, and access continues until the end of the period already paid
- Refunds are handled by the app stores under their own policies
- Prices may change; changes apply to later renewals after notice, subject to the app stores' rules
- If your subscription ends, you keep your data. Anything above the free tier's limits stays usable, but creating more is blocked until you subscribe again or come back under the limit
6. Service Availability
We aim to keep the Service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
We may:
- Modify or discontinue features
- Perform maintenance
- Fix bugs or issues
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
- You violate these Terms
- We are required to do so by law
You may delete your account in the app or request account deletion by email as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is"
- We make no warranties regarding reliability or availability
- We are not liable for:
- Data loss
- Service interruptions
- Indirect or consequential damages
9. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil.
Any disputes will be handled in accordance with applicable Brazilian law.
